Decorated trees galore, endless children’s activities and non-stop entertainment are just a few of the many reasons why Kennedy Krieger Institute’s annual Festival of Trees is Santa’s ultimate theme park. November 23, 24 & 25, Friday & Saturday, 10a.m. to 9p.m. and Sunday, 10a.m. to 6p.m., the Maryland State Fairgrounds will transform into a winter wonderland for the highly anticipated holiday extravaganza. Santa invites everyone to attend Festival of Trees, one of his favorite stops of the holiday season and the Mid-Atlantic’s largest holiday-themed festival.
Festival of Trees will once again feature a fairyland forest of more than 600 decorated trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses. New this year, a Harry Potter castle for exploring and 4-foot decorated trees perfect for any space. Additional highlights at Festival of Trees include the popular train garden, more than 100 gift boutiques, silent auction, raffle, hourly live entertainment and crafts and carnival games for children ages 1 to 92. Only a car ride away, Festival of Trees has something for everyone and is a one-stop-shop for the holiday season.
Attendees and Institute supporters can also start their own online Happy Holidays FUNdraising page to raise money for Kennedy Krieger. For every $10 raised to support the children and families of the Institute, supporters will receive one free ticket to Festival of Trees.
Proceeds from Festival of Trees benefit the Kennedy Krieger Institute, appropriately marking the beginning of the holiday season by giving the gift of hope to the thousands of children treated at the Institute.
