Research Presentation: Translation of Genomic Advances to Clinical Care
Next Generation Sequencing allows for large scale sequencing of the human genome and the discovery of the genetic basis for both rare and common diseases. The translation of genomic research findings to clinically useful diagnostic testing will be reviewed with a focus on the advantages and pitfalls of interrogating “Big Data”.
