McDaniel College and the Carroll County Public Library host the premiere of “Electric Road Trip,” an hour-long documentary following Emmy-award winning writer and director and McDaniel cinema professor Jonathan Slade along with his wife, Novia Campbell, both of Lineboro, Md., as they become to first to drive a fully electric vehicle 300 miles across the state of Maryland.
Cost is $5, which includes a question and answer session with the filmmaker. Guests are also encouraged to come early to see the electric car show on West Main Street. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be purchased online at https://library.carr.org/earthday.
