Dr. Muqtedar Khan, Associate Professor, Political Science and International Relations, University of Delaware
Dr. Khan, noted author and commentator, will examine the key challenges faced by Islam in the contemporary global arena: The Arab Spring and the challenge of democratization, Islam in the West and the New-Islamophobia, the status of women, and religious pluralism. He will discuss the efforts of many Islamic reformers to address these issues from within the Islamic tradition.
