McDaniel hosts a lecture by renowned educator, philosopher, author and activist Cornel West, who is best known for his works “Race Matters” and “Democracy Matters,” his memoir “Brother West: Living and Loving Out Loud,” and his most recent book, “Black Prophetic Fire,” which offers an unflinching look at 19th and 20th century African-American leaders and their visionary legacies.
